Production Baker/Line Worker
We have multiple openings for production bakers/line workers. These are full-time positions.
You must be able to lift 65+ pounds from a bending position, take direction well, follow precise instructions in a timely manner, and work well both independently and with others. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, high quality standards, and a positive attitude. Attention to detail is essential. We prefer candidates with some commercial kitchen or food production/manufacturing experience.
Job responsibilities: Ingredient preparation, dough production, product packaging, and/or line work. The shift concludes with facility clean up. This is satisfying, physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment. Work hours: 40 hour work week, working an eight-hour shift, M-F, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Occasional overtime.
Compensation: Starting salary of $15/hour, depending on experience. We offer full medical/dental/vision benefits, paid holidays, paid time off, retirement benefits, and an employee assistance program.

Against The Grain is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our Maintenance staff. We are a family-owned manufacturer of gluten-free bread and pizza products, which are distributed in thousands of retail locations across the US. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work with our maintenance team in servicing all the mechanical components of a large, commercial bakery, including ovens, food processing equipment, packaging equipment, refrigeration, and fork trucks.
Requirements: A knowledge of and experience with some or all of the following content areas: pneumatics, valves, cylinders, air compressors, burners for propane ovens, freezers, and/or coolers. Some electrical knowledge is highly desirable, including motors, starters, relays, A/C, D/C, theory. Computer knowledge of PLCs and inverters is desirable. You should be able to trouble shoot and perform PM on various machines. Forklift experience is desirable. You must possess your own tools. Minimum education of high school diploma; additional education is desirable.
Compensation: Based on experience.
