The community in which we live and work is an important part of who we are. Although we provide donations of gluten free bread to just about every event that asks, we have more long-term relationships with a few local organizations, including:
The Southern Vermont Branch of the Vermont Foodbank (our next door neighbor!), http://www.vtfoodbank.org/. One in 10 Vermonters access the Vermont Foodbank, which distributes 7 million pounds of food a year through a network of 280 food shelves, meals sites, senior centers, shelters, and after-school programs.
The Community Kitchen Inc. http://www.thecommunitykitchen.org
Feeds 12,000 people in the Monadnock, NH region and serves approximately 1.1 million meals a year.
Strolling of the Heifers http://www.strollingoftheheifers.com/ A local organization dedicated to educating the public, especially young children, about the importance of sustainable local agriculture, and to preserving local family farms.
